Her heart poured out
Tuned to events of
Her very short life
What was thought to be
Immortal
Will soon depart
Losing the last remnants
Of her being
This dwelling filled
With supportive strangers
Creative individuals
And loving passerbyers
Was enough of a loss
But the most heart wrenching
Of it all
Is losing the place
She once loved the most
The fragments of her biography
Will disappear
And there won’t be
Anywhere left to visit
As her family hides
The relics of her world from me
To lose the only headstone
I was allowed to know of
And keep close to my heart
Feels unbelievably agonizing
More than any word can describe
Don’t know your story and it is very sad losing DUP but you’re here now with other DUPpers….don’t die with the music in you.🙏
It’s truly sad DUP is getting deleted soon,the community there was quite helpful and kind. I will truly miss it – but it’s good I already archived everything.
I hope you feel that this will be a second home.
My heart felt this.
DUP was a home to so many of us and not being able to see her, it’s a loss I will grieve for a long time.
I’m holding you as well as the rest of my DUP family in thought.
