Welcome to the table. I want to give thanks to all the members of Stars Rite. The last time I did a dinner on the site was on DUP. It was fun to invite everyone I knew to the imaginary Thanksgiving dinner, and I was going to do the same here, but then I thought, this is Stars Rite.
There are people that I do miss, but then I met new people, and I’m grateful for all the interactions I’m having. The amazing writers on here expose me to different styles and different thought processes. After all, there are billions of stars in the sky, so why wouldn’t stars right be just as numerous with their creativity
It is a challenge to run a creative site like this because we all know creatives have their own ideas of how things should run, and that’s good. I’m grateful for knowing all of you and interacting with all of you.
Let us eat of our own brand of dinner. Instead of turkeys, let’s have a short story of I don’t know of knowns and fairies. I guess that would be the cranberries, the big bird would be the poetry of us. The stuffing would be the emotional angst and the trials and tribulations of romance or lack of romance
The desert would be all the erotic’s and the hidden darks. Do you wanna wrap trays up and take food home? Lol
I just wanted to reach out before Thanksgiving commences and just tell you how grateful I am to know all of you. Thanksgiving should not be just one day because I give thanks all the time just to be here.

Beautifully penned, Fia. I remember last Thanksgiving on DU as well. I agree that our new home is special, and I appreciate all the work you put in to keep the site running, cuz. Along with Sam and Bobbington and all that contribute to keeping the lights on in our creative sanctuary. I’m thankful for this community of gifted writers and amazing people who share their stories and invite us to experience their journey with them. Happy Thanksgiving to all of the Stars Rite family! What a lovely idea to organise a Thnksgiving dinner.
I am still grateful for a number of very successful coops with DUP people. Very rewarding in terms of the gentle fun of putting energy into the work and make it work.
From some 4.500 listens, to an estimated 12.500 (Loving you – with Faith Maree), it resonated immensely in Europe. I am trying in a very small way, to make that happen again.
I can perfectly understand that the burden on the DUP mistress became too heavy. Therefore, I am most grateful/thankful that you have taken the initiative to give us a safe harbour here.
And I will try to extend my being thankful to the rest of the days, and not only on the 27th of November.

Hi Fia, its nice to see you have a beautiful idea of celebrating here thanksgiving dinner, there are poor who cant even afford to have dinner, whenever i got my piece of meal, few snatched it away as if thrown away from dinner table, but few really kept me in heart with care for me. I am glad for the thought and I see atleast not miss the dinner though after a day.
Being thankful invokes divinity in heart and such thanks being offered gives people a high level of respect, it doesnt matter how much they lose but their ego stays at high level of being down to earth.
Happy Thanksgiving and i wish everyone had a bite of turkey from your sweet lines. i had very good time with my son after a year.
