Somewhere, forever,
no hand has touched,
where the rivers rush.
Over melancholy of stones,
deep the bones of Genesis,
lofting the willow.
As leaves part like a choir,
beneath a cathedral’s canopy,
in a heaven of green air.
Without an eye to witness,
the architecture of God,
somewhere, forever.
