a ferret’s with a pink nose

HomePoetrya ferret's with a pink nose

Keep your hands off my biscuit’s
she peeled the Jammie Dodger from the tin
and don’t go all Bela Lugosi on me

as he adjusted his cravat and whispered
“ain’t touched nothing but your chin”
she grabbed his handle by the spout

thanking it a ferret’s with a pink nose
an enthusatic old soul hungry for a clam
the Jammie Dodger rattled in the tin

like a mouse trapped in a drum
as the tin clattered against the linoleum
“ain’t touched nothing but your chin”

    1. Hi Atticus,
      Nice poem.
Tomorrow is my birthday i am in India. I was feeling alone. I think my parents forgot my birthday they didn’t asked me to buy new clothes. It’s fine my son too forgot my birthday every year i only remind him. Was thinking who will wish me first.

I see you here and few others write regularly and your feelings in every poem are so related to me. I see you do art work for each poem. I would like to make friendship with you will you be my friend.

I know you might have read my poems do you read them. I need your feedback.

      • Hi Jessy! yes. I read many poems but comments I find go astray. Im a tad fickle because my words seem to pass yonder. If people don’t comment on my words, I surely will not theirs.

        • I usually comment but sometimes it is too personal to talk about so I don’t drop a review. I respect their writings but if it is hurting i tried to comment but nowadays people are soo rude they don’t want any corrections or constructive criticisms. So I left hope in helping and let their karma give good lessons..

          How are you today ?

          Keep writing.

          Jessy Jacob ❤️
