Did you ever just have one of those days..
you wake up, open your eyes and just feel great?
today I did, and what a feeling!!
open the blinds and the sun is blazing
crack open the window and hear the birds chirping
no noise or other disturbances outdoors
temperature is around 60-65 degrees
I received my paycheck today
all my bills were previously paid
weekend is here with the addition of a paid holiday on Monday
I have no plans or chores that are a bore or a drag
meeting with friends tonight
hanging with my girl on Sunday
no hang ups, no interruptions
went for a bike ride this morning
came back and took a swim in my pool
felt exhilarating & refreshing
drank my shake, which should hold me till tonight
time is now 11 am
temperatures are now close to 75-80 degrees
sun is still blazing
no clouds in the sky
tempted to go down to the bay
might just do that
I enjoy fishing and just talking to the locals
such freedom & enjoyment
days like this only come every so often
returned home
have to get ready soon
remember?..
I’m hanging out with friends tonight
turned on all three diffusers in the house
love the scent of lemon
there is a horrible smell lingering in the house
don’t care
still going out
took a shower that felt amazing
new shirt & pants I bought several days ago
new cologne as well
i guess tomorrow or Monday I’ll need to worry about that stench in the house
friends will be picking me up in a few
can’t let them in
need to lock up the house as soon as they pull into the driveway
the reek is too overpowering,
I don’t need them to see my wife sprawled out on the couch dead for several days
bludgeoned by…I don’t know…someone
PISS THE FUCK OFF!!
