Standard Timekeeping
There’s a place of tranquility and pain;
Drenched in the downpour, reading the rain.
Life is darkness to the armor-less knight,
Destined to live with what’s on her back
Forever guilty and all is right!
Desire-less to find another track.
Peaceful anguish is not subject to change.
The streets can be justice for the strange!
Meaningless suffering top off the night.
Why even try, there is no way back.
Into the doom, turning left nor right,
Like a freight train rumbling down the track.
Public solitude; none will meet her gaze,
Living like a reptile out of faze.
Deserving makes fair, falling in the night.
To a sharp pain running down her back.
Is getting up a need or a right?
I’m no longer able to keep track.
Body left smiling in a ditch
She’s never going to be rich
The world turns without a hitch
It must be time to fetch
The time keeping witch

Interesting piece. Would the witch be needed to rewrite the moment in time to make life..be more lighter?
Doesn’t It seem like someone should take notice when life ends quietly without a comment or ripple on the world. Some kind of magical scorekeeper like it means something?
This entire vibe was very intriguing
but this line here truly stood out.
” The streets can be justice for the strange! ”
Fantastic wring indeed
