Summary:
That is a new poem Written by Aldo Kraas

Quiet night
Watching every moment of your journey pass
I see you clearly from this high height
Watching every single moment of your journey pass
Angels hum me soft to sleep
Safe within these cotton folds
No more bitter tears to weep
Underneath a roof of gold
Happy memories are yours to keep
Secrets that the sunlight holds
Daughter stay here in the golden light
While I rest inside my bed of brass
Looking down from heaven in the quiet night
Watching every moment of your journey pass
I see you clearly from this high height
Watching every single moment of your journey pass
Kneeling in my father’s garden plot
Pulling every stubborn weed
Silver bulbs are planted in a sunny spot
Scattered with a humble seed
Past mistakes are easily forgot
Helping every flower succeed
Wild squirrels hunt for a taste
Bitter blood meal keeps the peace
Living life without a waste
Watching all the beauty and the joy increase
The bees arrive with careful haste
Finding sweet and nectar-filled release
the thorns of yesterday
The old seasons finally had to end
Don’t let the shadows block your way
There is nothing left to fix or mend
Live your life in full today
Be your own and truest friend
Daughter stay here in the golden light
While I rest inside my bed of brass
Looking down from heaven in the quiet night
Watching every moment of your journey pass
I see you clearly from this high height
Watching every single moment of your journey pass
Daughter stay here in the golden light
While I rest inside my bed of brass
Looking down from heaven in the quiet night
Watching every moment of your journey pass
I see you clearly from this high height
Watching every single moment of your journey pass
