The town is shrouded In velvety gloom
Wisps of fog rise to the mountain heights
A flash of lightning flickers in the night
Odin’s thunderous roar proclaims doom
The streets are deserted, dogs bark
Your windows are closed, the doors locked
You think you’re safe, so don’t be shocked
I am lurking for you in the dark
I am not after your blood, my child
Don’t worry, this is not my style
Be patient and wait for a little while
We will play games, exciting and wild
I’m going to gagg and fix you to a table
The cage on your chest contains rats
Cute hungry and ravenous pets
To cry for help you won’t be able
At first I’m going to heat up the cage
Until the rats feel the need to flee
The baseplate must be gnawn to get free
Through your body they’ll eat a way in rage
Torture has always been my obsession
When you sceam in horror and fear
It is sweetest music in my ears
Back then, inquisitor was my profession
Torture is great fun, you have seen
Waterboarding, breaking bones
Watching you suffer, left alone
Meet you next year, happy Halloween!

Oh my!
I’ll not be knock on your door next Halloween.
Maybe Christmas?
Don’t worry, in reality I handed out candy last night. But who knows which beast slumbers deep inside me! 😂 thank you for reading and commenting, my friend!

This is a wicked write Elke. The detail and marvelous imagery you create is executed wonderfully. Hope your Halloween was filled with magic, scares and happiness.
I’m really no big fan of horror movies and stories but I couldn’t resist trying my hand at this genre. You are my role model! Thank you very much for reading and writing your kínd comment, dear Keith!

Men, far too many, and their deranged minds, know no end when it comes to torturing women.

Thank you very much for reading and commenting, my friend!
How I wished these slaughters in the name of God had used their creativity on more meaningful and helpful projects than on satisfying their misogyny and there lust for power!
Wickedly penned, Elke. Excellent Halloween write my friend. Appreciate you.
