Summary:
The muse struck at a weird time

You take me to a dream of nonsensical promises
Of rainbows and diamonds falling from the sky
A kiss placed strategically on the brow
Screams of hidden thoughts and wants

Why should we not indulge in a dream
Allow liberties and fanciful play
Once awakened to a day that is not our own
Yet we move to a steady rhythm

Come to me and embrace me.
Feel that I am real in this dream
Taste the fruit cultivated from a thousand seeds
Sweet is the juice that rivals the plum

Do not shy away, my conqueror.
This dragon fire will consume
And take you to a secret place
Where bodies intertwine in its heat

We will climb together to a peak
Then fall into a cotton candy abyss
