Summary:
Cove @ Llangrannog Beach. But you all knew that anyway.

In this secluded cove

the sea is calm tonight,

bubbling bursts of your wet doors to open

frothing within firmament of

where neandertal man first

made love to emoji-stricken woman

Pray tell, kiss my burning lips like ashes

can you hear the hym(e)ns from forgotten villages?

Slide your body between my skin and sand

let my fingers dig the deepest moat,

It will only be the tide which washes fingerprints away

Tell, pray, lights from fishermen’s cottage

reel your panties to staged ankles

only moon’s shutters film me entering you,

Somewhere, overhead, a jet cries

One hundred nights of negligee

the reddest will burn the longest,

hold the pose, straps tangled in seaweed,

bite your name into my neck

scratch the air where our breaths never touched

and tell all pirates we have boarded their ships

On morning’s arrival

crime scene was undetected,

save imprints of shotgun shells unexploded
