    The Seasons of My Mood

Regardless of summer joyousness, I will sense the overcast of wintry darkness.   Sometimes I will feel happiness, yet there is that which lingers smotheringly.   Always at the brim of my eyes is a teary shower   which glazes over my eyes and thunderous shouts...

    • I’ve never thought of it as like seasons before, but now that I have it is a strangely accurate description, especially when it feels more unpredictable. Maybe I should invest in an emotional tornado shelter.

      • A shelter from emotional tornadoes would be medication coupled with therapy… take it from me! lol

    • Powerfully penned, Daniel. Incredible write my friend. Appreciate you.

    Afterlife

Sometimes,I can't help but wonder. Is the afterlife full of woe or wander? It must be lonely living in limbo. Or being unable to cross over.Must be lonely being unable to see your loved ones.Since in this body you are not whole. Just...

    A Mother’s Hug Goodnight

Frigid, calm front hides in northern winds, the vast sky of my bedroom dims. Stream in winter Iced over, mother’s embrace letting go at bedtime.   Still raining, sky’s dark pillow, eyelids become anchors, smothering.   The cold front blanketing these damp lids, peacefully covers the coming storm.

    Oh God

Where do you gowhen you climax?I feel your body beneath me,but your presence driftssomewhere else, untouched by hands. Ah… petit mort, the little death. If death is truly so sweet, why do we tremble before it?

    • If you follow Rick Beato you must be a music enthusiast.
I have seen Rick discussing the impact of AI in the music industry and even he has said it’s getting harder to identy human from digitally created music.
The same can be said for any ‘writing’ site….who is doing the writing.
I for one, would never post an AI produced piece without declaring it.
Sometimes, I’ll write a piece, get AI to tidy it up and then post both versions and let others decide which is better.Usually, it’s the AI free version .
      Its a crazy old world.🌞

      • Yes it is, Peter. I’m a drummer of 52 years. Thanks for the comment.

    • Hell yeah, Beato, has a great show. Appreciate you.

    • There a few things in life I detest more than AI .. and I can only think of four members of my own species that fall into that category .. All of whom are supposedly world leaders and one of which has no intelligence whatsoever, let alone artificial .. 😎👍I found this to be a compelling read which could prove write for further debate .. • I fear this is going to be a case of “the internet is forever”. Once it’s been used to train an AI, which somehow it seems like it already has, I don’t think deleting it will remove it from its “memory”. We’re entering a brave new world of technology and I’m quickly starting to feel very unprepared for it.
