The number of times I wake up in the morning and complain about how I don’t want to do whatever thing it is I have to do that day. This reminded me so much of that. It’s all about the choices we make every day, at least to control the things we can control.
And the twist at the end… really wraps it up in an interesting way.

I remember trying to explain why I keep my eyes open when kissing and intimate moments. “Because I need to reassure myself you aren’t him. Won’t turn into a monster.” Yeah, this one gripped me…

Great truthful write which exactly describes the power of anxiety.
Anxiety usually brings along its best mate, depression, just to make sure you’re maxed out.
