Hi Rob!! How are you doing amigo?
I’ve been working and taking digital art classes. I finally finished my book! I’m so excited. I’m waiting for my printed copies to arrive in the mail. It is titled Poetry Stained Teeth! It’s on Amazon and I’m looking to work on my marketing so lots going on. I’m so happy you stopped by and left me a comment. Your writing is golden so I appreciate you stopping by to say hello.
Now I need to encourage Mark to get his rolling!Later gator

Perfect timing. I was in a friends OLD basement and saw three spiders to the right of the door that opens to the backyard. Creepy things for sure – and kind of big.
And as for women, I’ve met one too many who were there to spin their web. To catch their prey. But through my cleverness and acts of evasion I eluded them. But oh, what I could have had. :))))))
Nice one, Adel.

Hey there Tim!
I literally freeze when I see spiders. Especially the big one’s. But they do make badass webs!
This write is an oldie but goodie. Trying to do a lot of things at once. I finally finished my first book. It’s small but lots of color
and art. It’s on Amazon titled Poetry Stained Teeth. I’m waiting on my books to arrive in the mail. A year’s worth of work!!I’m so proud of doing the cover and each page of art myself. I plan to do 3. I’m currently working on the first pages of my second book with the sub title The Golden Addition. Or maybe I’ll use the word addiction. 😂
The last book I want to do is a dark volume. Yikes!
I’m so happy to see commenting on my write amigo. It’s been a while:)

Are you talking about my evil twin? She escaped? This is so good, and the way you wrapped it up with ” You know you want her to, was perfect.

Hi Fia!
It’s been so long since I’ve posted anything. Thank you for dropping by with a comment. This is an oldie but goodie.
I already see how I want to do the art. lol. I want it to look like an antique Victorian picture. She could be my twin sister too!
Thanks for using the word perfect! Made my day:)

It’s about time you posted something! I’m tired of everyone asking me where are you!
LOL. So pick up your own slack!
And here you are, finally! I sense the halloween theme that this seems to coincide with. And for the record, you’ve dressed a bit venomous before…I am so wrapped up.
Awesome visuals that you crafted within this clever write. Your artwork is equally impressive, but we must wait til ? For those.
So lovely to see you here my love!-
Hi baby!
I can’t let you be the only one posting. I’m sorry I’ve been slacking! I need to get back into writing more but the art takes me forever. And yes, I will gyrate you mister. Hahahaha
September and October are great inspirations for writing. This is an older poem but I thought I’d
post something since my writing has stalled. lol. Love you sweetie. I’ll call you in a bit. MWA!!!

Thanks. Not many left who appreciate what the greats of that era contributed. There’s a guy named Vince Balestri who starred in a movie about Kerouac, titled “Beat Angel,” which I have not yet seen. I have to order the disk version. It got great reviews, and it should. Before that,,Vince did a one man show, “Kerouac, The Essence of Jack,” for very many years, touring the US. I was lucky to do the PR for the show here in Austin at Chicago House, now defunct. That show was held over, twice. It was inccredible. We became good friends while he was here. A marvelous talent. I don’t know what happened to him, We just lost touch. I miss him, too.

I wanted to say something before I end the read. My initial take on the story is that it is sweet. I appreciate the two colors to keep people engaged with who is speaking. I will finish it and write the rest of this comment.
Oh my.. So they knew each other? She wanted him but was scared; he wanted her but was scared. Seems to go well with what is happening with young people who only talk online. Now, creeping into her place is taking it to another level.
Hopefully it ends well for both of them-
No, they did not know each other. And what happens next is … well, what? That’s up to the reader to determine.
This was originally written as a short stage play, and a friend and I performed it at Chicago House in Austin, Texas, my home. We sat on stools in the dark, dressed in black, and each stood and played our parts directly to the audience in a tight spotlight that came down as we rose, in turn, from our stools, then returned to them, again in blackness, at the end of each speech. At the end, when we “turned the knob” of her door, we faced each other for a moment, then BLACKOUT. Each time we performed this, the audience was struck dumb, but eventually broke out in applause, seeming to get permission to applaud from the first few brave souls who started it. It was sweet.

“Observation is an art form that must be mastered.” I love the contempt you pour on the system, from the “Marshmallow figures” bowing to a “corporate bastard,” to the reality of censored voices. The final, detached image of “Strumming an old guitar while watching humans play” is the perfect, chilling exit from the chaos. Brilliant and perceptive.

Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Roma. So glad you connected with the write my friend. I do have a lot of contempt for the system. lol. You picked some of my favorite lines as well. Glad you dig the ending, thanks for your wonderful commentary and continued support my friend. Appreciate you.

Art is an art. It takes a good eye and connection to emotions. But some treat it as a product. Like Lionel Richie said ‘there are creative artists and created artists’.
Great ink friend

Preach it, in rhymes! Well delivered in a poetic voice that stays to the front of our brains. awesome words Damian.

The games people play are often cruel and thoughtless, and more often they don’t even give their own opinion. Like marionettes, they do and repeat what others tell them. We all should begin to be more authentic and have meaningful and responsible conversations for the sake of all persons involved.
A brilliant socially critical poem, dear Damian! -

I think most poets, indeed most writers in general are people watchers at heart .. You just nailed us with this one sir .,. Write on brother .. Neville 😎👍

Please tell me this one might have a place on the album. This is what’s called a hole in one! Makes me think about how much chaos is visible of what “they’re” doing. It’s like the iceberg. What aren’t we meant to see? That’s the shit that keeps me up nights. Eyes on honesty, as always, my friend

“Plastic people are always asking for motivation” I like the message on this, as if some folks seek validation from others to feed ego. I’ve always thought the initial motivation should be intrinsic so as to have a solid foundation in our true worth. Maybe social media has watered down much of that.
Amazing work.

And there was me lamenting where have all the DU gone? And in the space of a weekend, your good self, Mark and Gary appear and life seems a little bit normal again. I stay away from spiders these days. I can’t tell you how much I wish the best for you and Styx. Welsh Rob
