    • Brilliantly penned, DK. There is always so much depth underneath these saucy tales you weave my friend. Appreciate you.

      • You make me want to keep writing, Damian. Your comments are so inspiring, and I so appreciate you following me… reading me… making me crazy to show you something else.

        Thank you

        xoxoxo

    • Your vote: Buckle in girl. I’m getting ready to spill my guts. And it’s nothing to be proud of.

    • OMG, HJ. Yeah, exactly like that. Come over here and lick it off. I feel like feeding you.

    • This is one scorching story. Outstanding. Your a talent DK.

    • Well, M’Dear 🌺

Let me start with this: “GULP!”
Nowhere is there a “fiction” tag … thus, as wonderful as it is to imagine it’s all or partly fact (and, I’ve read every chapter through “Back In The Kitchen”), your unrivaled gift as a master raconteur has drawn me into every stunningly vivid detail of each breathfilled, thrumming moment, as though I’m alive in each character’s skin.
It’s truly staggering how erotically graphic and honest to reality the entire timbre is, all without a smidgen of disgusting ugliness … it’s entirely not in WHAT you write, but in HOW you write it, how you put, how you make it come across as though it’s all as humanly natural as one slipping into their shoes … as though it’s exactly what I’d do and how I’d act under the same circumstances.

And, in addition, not a grammar, syntax, or diction gaffe in the lot … sighhh! Writers like You could put editors out of business, make editing arcane.

Oh, well … here I go again hogging all the air, wearing thin my welcome. Let me close with a very-very sincere, “Thank you, Lady-DK, for the sheer enjoyment of sharing your phenomenally rare prowess with a sparkling pen, Our Exemplarily Skilled Writer!” ⁓ Richard🖌

PS: in a lull, drop by my place to see what I’ve been up to of late … hint-hint! ; )

      • I intend to ‘cum’ by, my sweet. I’ve missed reading your work. The weeks around here loom busy and distracting. Kids take priorities, and then, I have other interruptions which I plan to elaborate in my confessions. I expect to make you very disappointed in me… after which you will recall that I’m not actually your daughter, and it’s perfectly okay to stroke your bobbing dismay.

Please check my grammar, Richard. You are hereby my official editor and chief. You do know where my grammar is located, right? I have faith you will find it.

BTW… I think if you click on that last picture, you will find it’s a gif for you.

    • Love those opening lines. The write felt like an emotional rollercoaster like most situations like those are. Great ink.

    • Clearly, I’m late to the show, but whew loved every second of this read.

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Fia. So glad you enjoyed the write my friend. I never thought of it like that, I had to reread it after reading your comment, I see it as well. Nice interpretation. Appreciate you.

    • As a former redhead I had to smile at the redhead reference. The chill you build in this is palpable. But where would we be without our muse? Mine can be a technicolor bitch but I’d be lost without her. The places you take us, my friend…

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Willow. So glad you connected with the write my friend. Yes, they are always guiding us along the path of creativity, indeed. Appreciate you.

    • I remember this spotlight. You both were amazing on this.

      • Thanks, Fia. It was a great interview, I can’t really rate them though, because I love them all equally. I learned in the songwriting world, a song is like your own child and you want it to succeed. Well I have a lot of creative children my friend. Between songs, poems, interviews, and music commentary. Like real life some achieve others not so much. I got deep into that metaphor, I did a me. I miss, Duende as well. Appreciate you.

        Damian

    • Duende is a marvelous woman. Talented writer. Cool person all around. Great piece Damian.

      • Thanks, Keith. She is all that my friend and more. It was a great interview for sure. Thanks for reading and your continued support my friend. Appreciate you.

        Damian

    • I keep hoping she’ll show up again. Maybe one day. I know a lot of people struggle with the closing of DUP. The transition to new lands can be a challenge. I miss her too, my friend

      • Thanks, Willow. Maybe one day, we can hope my friend. That they are, it’s understandable though, it was their creative home. Yes, I miss her too. Appreciate you.

        Damian

    • Thanks, Mary. That she is my friend. Hopefully she’ll see it’s posted. Appreciate you.

      Damian

    • One of the best poets, and thankfully one I call friend. Her heart is big and forgiving. She sees the good in everyone. I wish I could read more of her, but when her poems pop up it is always special. Now log on! Haha.

Was nice learning some new things about her. Great interview.

      • Thanks so much reading and your kind words, Nick. So glad you enjoyed the interview my friend. She is one of a kind for sure. I miss reading her as well. Appreciate you.

        Damian

    • Thanks so much, Duende. I’m glad they live on in a new home, while still honoring our former home. It was an honor interviewing you my friend, I’m glad you said, Yes. lol. To quote David Lee Roth: “We were laughing like pirates!” Well it was two friends chatting. 😊 I appreciate you as well, Duende.

      Damian

    • This was such an interesting interview. I enjoyed hearing Duende’s explanation about the meaning of her name and how she learned about poetic elements. I didn’t know she was from the Netherlands. You tease out some fascinating material, Damian.

Duende, it must have been quite frightening to go for five years without any literary inspiration. I can’t imagine it, because you’re a gifted writer and writers are called. I’m so glad you found your muse!

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Meg. So glad you enjoyed the interview my friend. I’ve learned every interview has it’s on flavor, my guests are an important part of the dance. In fact I usually let them lead, it’s their interview I’m happy to follow and add some ingredients into the pot. Duende, is a cool lady, and an incredibly gifted writer. Yeah, she’s from the same place as the Van Halen brothers. She even messaged me a pic from her local paper, showing the a candlelight vigil that fans made after EVH’s death. Appreciate you.

    • I’ve had days just as you described but without the anger.
All that is certain is that your mood, like everything else, is impermanent.
While your feeling like crap its a good time for introspection. The way out is in.🙏

      • It does take me a while to get out of that headspace. But I do get out of it, and honestly, it is best when I am alone, so I do not come at people at that time. Thank you, Peter

    • Happy Wednesday Fia. I know it’s not a great day for you.

    • hello beautiful Fia I feel you on this I can’t shake my mood either and I’m getting nothing done I have no motivation pain sucks it right out of you great write 💕

    • Powerfully penned, Fia. I think your day will get better my friend, thanks for sharing. Appreciate you.

      Damian

    • Thank you, girl. It was a very difficult day. I straightened it out. I did use that fury to help out, though. lol

    • Use that anger to reflect and learn what not to do, so the situation can be controlled and conquered.
