    My Pen

The pen I hold is my wand. With one motion of it,I create something hauntingly beautiful.Aching sorrows, juxtapositionedwith romance;darkly romantic.Script seasonedwith the Gothic, and the surreal.Dreamy and nostalgic. How is it so?Blending opposites, bridging themuntil they're sensical. My pen, my friend, knows more of my...

    Life Abides

Talk is cheap when it’s bathed in lies Consuming sin like it’s a physical need Promises are risky between taut thighs Signing over the goods to plant a seed   Asleep at the wheel and losing ground Temptation takes a soul when convenient  Waiting for old...

    • Im probably well off track with this one, but this is where it took me. Feel free to shove me off the track if I’m wrong. It brings to mind corruption & how weaker minds believe what they want to hear because it benefits them in some way. Thing about greed & corruption is it’s a disease that needs constant feeding. It grows on itself until it becomes a monster. But they don’t see the monster until it’s too late. The fine print is always key, my friend

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Willow. So glad you connected with the write my friend. No, you’re pretty spot on. A lot of my writes have multiple possibilities, I’m not always loyal to a subject, like my brain it’s a lot of moving parts. lol. My whole life, I’ve been told I’m multifaceted, I didn’t always see it myself. But after years of being told, I see it more over time. It is always in the fine print, and is always key. Appreciate you.

    Standing At My Grave

Under the winter day’swhispery glow, all is quiet here. This is my shattering. No more hymns of breath.Just waiting beside my tombstone.Dressed wildly in vines of time.Had you been a ghost too, would you have noticed me?Must death be the only way?Bound now...
