Was a huge fan of indie jingly-jangle bands of mid to late 80s, but age has broadened my horizons. My first g/f introduced me to Northern Soul and she had all the acrobatic moves – she’d prob break her back if tried it now! Helped having older sisters who were Motown mad.

He was giving Eddie his moment to shine. Rick was already established. Ode fact: Rick James and Neil Young were in a band together called the Mynah Birds. Circa: 1964 to 1967. They did not release an album though.
