Brilliantly penned, Willow. Now that’s a bonfire! Excellent lyrics with an amazing musical arrangement. Really liked the drums in this my friend. That third stanza worked as a bridge, I really loved the build to that moment, the bridge brought it all home. It was also the heaviest part of the song with the drums working like exclamation points to your words. When my brother was a drummer in a certain band, I often referred to him as: “The Human Exclamation Point.” Drummers help put emphasis on lyrics in my opinion. Nicely done per usual. Appreciate you.

Drums are the beat we march to. Definitely the punctuation. I think I wanted a strong drum rhythm there to keep the energy building, keep the fire burning and hope going. Thank you, my friend. I’ll be bringing wood as needed to keep it going

I like how in the first stanza, you start out hazy and that no cares, then the next you explain the addiction and how everyone should relate in one form or another, because there are so many different addictions. Then you come back at the end and want to know who your true friends are.
You lead the reader of this very nicely. Good write Nick;))
