    Lady of Ashes

What happened to your heart? It used to be so strong. When did these damn nightsget so fuckin longYou're my Lady of ashes, and I'm all burnt up.You threw me in the fire; And my soul has had enough.I've had enough...I've had enough,I've...

    The Metamorphosis of Touch

Doesn’t pledge come before promise,And promise before reward? And before these must come the hintThe touch before the word.***In the cool of the evening as the long shadows fallWe walk closer in the fading lightYour hand first touchesThen slips in...

    • Its the moments that lead to the exclamation point that give everything context. Live in the moment 🌼

    • There’s a touch of apprehension and romantic expectation that happens I’m familiar with. It’s that little rush of excitement that brings a flush to the skin. You’ve seized on that to me with this poem in all your details. Very well done.

    • My sensual Joe,

      • All long to feel as if we’re the consummate measure of desire. Yearning is good for the imagination.. What is imagined can be 🌼

    • Thank you. 🙂

    • I like what I do, but it is quite maddening to spend so much time at work. And really with work it’s all you work and hope to have a good day and maybe it will or maybe it will be shitty. Just feels so repetitive after awhile. Some days I just want to run off screaming.

      Great ink

      • It is not the work itself. It is how we are perceived of what we do.An economist for example does not become friend with someone that works at client service. Let alone have him a lover. We are percieved as work and that is quiet disturbing.

    Ballroom

The ballroom music softly filled my head. And figures appeared before my hand.Classy gowns, upside down frowns. And fancy clothes all around.A ballroom dance, newfound romance. Is what my heart remembers and found. Once upon a December,I remember it well.I was going there, near my wishing...
