Brilliantly penned, Fia. Into the book it belongs! This was incredible storytelling, and I even welled up with tears, I knew that the Butterfly and professor was a metaphor for something really going on. Poem is simply stated and well put.
I know it’s a flawed system, but those who didn’t vote are as responsible for Trump’s second term as those who voted for him. While the Democrats have let us down time and again, it’s obvious at this point in our history voting for one party isn’t “the same” as voting for the other. We are in the deep water now, and the tide is just beginning to roll in. We’ll all eventually feel the pain — even the MAGA heads. . -
