The 6th arrives
with a softness I did not authorize.
It walks in barefoot,
carrying the woman I love
in the palm of its hand
so much,
too much,
more than any day

I relate to this. I forget things all the time. I have post it notes all over my desk at work to help me remember things.
My grandmother ended up with dementia and I see some signs right now with my mom, so I get this write.
All I can say is keep writing! -
