I try to use Facebook only for Marketplace and it still manages to steal the precious moments from me.
What is the actual point of it besides being a massive income stream for the already rich.
Friends meet for coffee where words are supported by body language.Facebook friends are so many other things but mostly they’re just words.

99% of social media is trash. Go old school and meet people on the street or at places of social gatherings. Awesome write my friend.

I hear ya! While I’m not on FB I know the feeling of losing hours on YouTube! Holy crap what am I doing? And how did I get to this point? And yet…those precious hours somehow alleviate a lot of the angst from my real world. Fab and relatable write. H🌷

Thanks H. YouTube is another one of my vices. But I totally agree about how they alleviate angst- and that’s no small thing since there is so much of it today.

Pink, I spend far too much time on facebook. It is a sea of chaos and confusion I find. Your poem is very wise and you see social media with clear eyes. Like Emerson said, “As if we could kill time, without injuring eternity.”

Yes Gary was a dumbass.
Most of my stories aren’t pretty. I’ll throw some romantic or sexually driven writes but most of stuff is suspense, horror, gore and the outrageous.

The only point to this was that I wanted to see her shoot her head off her shoulders. I lost 50, because she shot part of her head off.
