    • The imagery of drowning in a smile and being a thousand kisses deep perfectly captures the feeling of being completely swept away by someone. Great write.

      • Thank you most kindly, Roma. I’m discovering more and more transplants from the WC everyday…feels wonderful, too!

    • I echo the comment above. Great poem, Kelly.

      • Hi Tim! I never really thanked you for being the first to tell me about “Stars Rite”. I checked it out because of you and Sam. I’ll always remember the kindness. Thank you!

        • My pleasure, Kelly. My time at WC is basically over so it’s good to see you and other friends from there on here. If I pop in to WC it’s probably to grab a few poems. 🙂

          • Charlie was there yesterday. The “online writer’s” feature had his face in the place. Lol, I guess he gave it a reboot, because it’s all up and running again. You should go back and get while the getting is good!

    • this reads like a melody of passion I can feel it ❤️

      • Passion is the one thing this world could use a little more of. I try to compose it into as much of my poetry as I can. Thank you for acknowledging that…and nice to meet you!

    • I love this post Kelly; it is absolutely dreamy in a sensual ambience….
      Warmly, B

    • Thank you, Betty! Feels good to have familiar faces looking back at me as I type!

    • Short and perfectly sweet Kelly

    • My forte is writing with a brevity of words. Thank you, Peter. So nice to meet you!

    • Wow, that is a smile

      • Thank you so much, Fia. I was surprised to find you’ve been a writer at the WC for some time, that our paths have never crossed till now. I find it comforting to know, as a moderator yourself, that you are also a poet, and fully understand the significance of having such a venue like this to call home. My poetry is my haven, my passion in life. Thank you for giving me a safe place to land.

    • Beautifully penned, Kelly. Excellent write my friend. Appreciate you.

    • IDK, the world doesn’t care about any of us. It just keep rolling along. Don’t you think it is up to us to care about feelings? About the feelings of others, about how we relate to the world, all life, and the people who inhabit it? In this sense, you are not a “glitch” but an integral part of everything around you.

I realize this is one part of a larger story (Chapter 17) and I have not as yet read all the chapters, so my comment may be way off base. If so forgive me. But I personally think we all are like stones cast on calm water and the ripples we leave affect the world around us. So, we are all “glitches”. Besides, Amethyste as a crystal is a warm calming stone so those feelings may be some warmth cast into this cold, cold, cold world.

Thanks for your chapter, hope I didn’t over step.
      -Curt

    • Only a human cares about other human feelings. We make our own distracted universe. But it is isolated.
