I certainly know that scene, and feel much as you do about it. I’m mostly a quiet type who doesn’t talk a lot, so when I do open my mouth, I want to be heard. What I want and what happens are often not the same, however. Communication should be a two-way street. Your few words are an important statement.

I construct stories all the time, too. I relate to this.

This reminds me of someone I used to work with. They had a full book worth of different stories in their head. They would go on all work shift telling me these stories.

I do the same when I’m unoccupied. Daydreaming can be constructive as long as you know which sidewalk is real.
