This is your Stars Rite catch-up on what’s new around the site.

You may have noticed a bell icon just below the “Publish Your Stories” bar. This bell is your notification center—it alerts you to new DMs, friend requests, responses to your posts, and a new feature: new_post_by_friend.

Whenever someone in your friend group (that you’re following) makes a post, you’ll receive an alert. When you log in, you’ll briefly see the names of those who have posted. In your notifications, it will appear as: new_post_by_friend.

As the site continues to grow, we’ll keep tweaking things to make your experience more comfortable and enjoyable.
