This was actually a baseball team, but they have something called Peach Jam in Augusta for basketball players who are high school kids planning to play in college, maybe it’s sometimes held in Atlanta as well. We have accidentally come through Augusta on the way to N.C. when that was happening – which was kind of a disaster since you couldn’t find a hotel room. It’s a big deal. The kids are huge!

SpringHill Suites is a branch of the Marriot chain. They are usually pretty neat hotels. We’ve stayed in the one at Augusta too. Andy and I stayed in one somewhere that was a renovated warehouse which was super cool.
