I’ve found that more often than not, people translate words through whatever filter they’re currently struggling with. It may not have anything to do with us even. But our words have impact, not always how we meant them, and their responses have an equal impact. Words are powerful and because of that, can be dangerous. Even if unintended. I feel this one
