    • Some people should not be allowed to be parents. I can feel the pain in this.

    • “spent a few years
      at the bottom
      of a bottle
      turns out
      you can drown lota things
      but demons fuckin float.”

Penned with brutal honesty, 253. I concur with Fia. The stanza above has a lot of fucking bite, I can definitely relate to living in a bottle most of my life. Thanks for sharing your story. Appreciate you.

    • This raw spill poem punches like a professional boxer. Each word is a bloodied and brawny fist, smashing its mark, square in the face. I absolutely concur with both, Fia, and Damian. Also, I do hope you see and realize the one and perhaps most important fact here: Your children do not fear you or cringe when you’re are near. You have effectively recreated the cycle of abuse. Thank you for sharing such a painful write.

Maybe a Reboot is in Order...

I don't know if I believe or not whether we return for another round once our lives have ended and we've been put in the ground reduced to so much ashes or dust scattered to the winds... or sitting on a mantle   what I do know... is...

    • that reboot would be ideal. To just be able to start over better than how it is now

      • My concern is that humanity would just fuck it up all over again. I think humanity needs the boot…up the backside. Thank you, Fia

    • hello beautiful Willow this has been on my mind of late I think we do come back with another chance at building on the wisdom we gained this round… very great write ❤️

      • I’m afraid there are a lot who haven’t learned yet. I begin to worry they may never get it. Thank you, Brenda 🧡

    • Brilliantly penned, Willow. This is a powerful write with lots of layers my friend. I’ve always thought that if one could come back they most likely wouldn’t remember their past life, so you might be getting a second chance but without any foresight of former lived experiences. Just a theory of mine. lol. I’m probably overthinking this aren’t I? Amazing read as always. Appreciate you.

      • My mind went sideways down a random path with this one, I think. I have to keep hope in place or this world will break me. It gives me hope to think that maybe the conscience becomes more pronounced on things we need to learn each time we return. I also hope (profoundly) that those resistant to the lesson come back as grubs. 😂 Thank you, my friend

    • Willful cruelty without reason seems to be a human trait. I’ll never understand why people prey on each other. Then again, as long as I don’t understand, it isn’t likely to be a temptation to fall into that behavior. Thank you, Peter
