    Insanity

In the hollow, lined chamber, the brass heart does not beat it clicks a rhythm of aphrodisiac's inevitable decay of my soul. There is no poetry in this machine, only the masturbating hands haunting the piston that drives my...

Inking Ink 5 - an interview with Sappho (Elke)

Tonight's interview is with Sappho (Elke), whose intelligence measures in volumes. She has a soul that I could hang my hat on, and it would gather no dust.Question 1: Who are your two favorite novelists?A1: That’s a hard choice....

    • Always searching for an opportunity to catch a photo of the old man on the mountain. My camera is never ready! He is quicker than he looks.

Intricate phonetics both personal and universal. Top notch word play, both fierce & peaceful. Much respect for this wilderness of word!

      • Glad you enjoyed, Benjamin. This one had me in a space…fierce and peaceful…you nailed it

        Much respect

    • Excellent crafting here. Such a strong entry to compliment this site.
It does have an outdoorsy feel to it, but that could be the picture leading me that direction. At any rate, the words build the bear!

    • A beautiful blend of wit and wisdom, wrapped in a lilting montage of smooth vocals and kick-ass music for the heart, mind and soul. Wicked stuff, and I say, if you’ve got it, flout it, baby, flout it!

      • Big thx for such an uplifting comment, FD. Glad you dug it .
Inspiration is the key…wherever we find it.

        Much respect always

    • All the more reason to embrace the things that we can control, near to us. But, also to open our minds to what we as a whole group deem valuable. Like dignity, for one and all.
It’s an age-old tactic, to divide a people so that no big masses will rebel against a government.
You write logically. Hopefully enough logical people can grasp your message.

      • You’re spot on..embrace what we can control and dont let the divisive tactics divide us..stay strong as ppl and a community and don’t betray our morals and values..like dignity..hopefully more ppls eyes open up and see they are getting to divide us so they can control us..thanks as always for commenting..I appreciate it

    • actually one of the biggest issues is the lack of local community. Like block parties, back yard BBQs where everyone is invited.
Many moments of enlightenment came during sitting on the porch, just chatting. Too bad it isn’t more common anymore.

      • I visited a foreign country for my 25 yr anniversary..fell in love with the country because I could feel the community vibe..haven’t felt that here in years..it is absent for sure
