    Love Sonnet LXXXVI

    For some reason April 29th
hung in the air like a full
    moon, its beams finding you
    through the open window, and

    tickled your skin as you
    slept. I watched you
    breathing, breasts rising and
    falling as the moon beams

    frolicked their enthusiasm,
    causing you to awaken slightly,
    roll on your side,

    And settle…Read More

    Endings and Beginnings

It was April 28th, a Tuesday, situated
two days closer to May. Something
    unclear, vague, shifted just beyond
    my sight.

Perhaps it was my over worked
    imagination, a mind focused

    • Is this a song? It’s cool. I like it

      • First, Thank You, Fia. I’m glad you liked this poem. Second, I am not sure it’s a ‘song’. I think to make it a song there would have to be a lot of editing, along with some experimentation. I am not sure I would know how to do this. The poem was written as I was listening to this Bonnie Raitt song, so besides quoting some of the lines found in that song, I think some of the rhythm of the song did find its way into the poem. But to be truthful, this was more an accident than intended.

    A KISS #4

    “Let’s not speak falsely now
    the hour is getting late.”
(Song/poem ‘Along The Watch Tower’, written and sung
by Bob Dylan. But in this case think/imagine this song
sung/played by Jimi Hendrix, the Live Version)

“Excuse me while I kiss the sky”
    -Jimi Hendrix, ‘Purple Haze’
