Four Quiet Seasons - One Loud Man

Four Quiet Seasons - One Loud ManWould you please just look at me,I tend to oscillate and goaround and around in increasinglyunpredictable circles, chasing my tail, but hardly making  even the faintest sound ..But if the truth was only known...

    • It does feel awful to kill a living animal but they are dangerous and they steal food. I hope your okay.

But our words have impact, not always how we meant them, and their responses have an equal impact. Words are powerful and because of that, can be dangerous. Even if unintended. I feel this one

      • Hi Willow, I really appreciate your comment on this poem. I think your are right about the ‘filter’ of how words land with someone. It’s hard at times, even in real, face to face conversation, but here or on any social media website, it’s even harder. And yes, words are powerful and dangerous. It’s one reason I think, that we write poetry. Thank…Read More

    Love Sonnet LXXXVI

    For some reason April 29th
hung in the air like a full
    moon, its beams finding you
    through the open window, and

    tickled your skin as you
    slept. I watched you
    breathing, breasts rising and
    falling as the moon beams

    frolicked their enthusiasm,
    causing you to awaken slightly,
    roll on your side,

    And settle…Read More
