Sadly it’s not to scale
It’s not the size of the wand it’s the magic in it…so most men say
I do have quite a long tongue though.

Really strong poetic rant which effectively points out that there continues to be a double standard when it comes to sexual deviance. I just finished a book called “Tampa” by Alissa Nutting which totally kills this topic in reference to predators. You should take a look at it.

Sounds like an interesting book. I’ll keep it in mind. There is a double standard for sure, but in some ways I don’t want to come off as victim blaming either. So many people all around get preyed on and the laws here are a joke at best. I mostly wrote this after seeing how many false accusations were floating around, and mostly it was one sided with no hearing out the male side.
Thanks for the read, much appreciated.

To apologize for a body part caught my attention, then I read this and understood where you were coming from. Interesting.

Yeah, I think sometimes it is like having to be sorry for being a man. Being attracted but having to watch your words, your eyes, your step. That makes it sound like women don’t go through similar issues, well really worse ones, but the poem is more pointing that out I suppose.
Thanks for the read, friend.

Powerfully penned, Nick. I partially blame the media, well the propaganda that’s force fed to us to consume daily. Putting their narratives in our heads. Magnificent write my friend. Appreciate you.

I appreciate reading the confessional poems out there, as a man given a penis by God, I can heavy relate. It’s not easy being a man and I’m sure harder to be a woman.

Hey there, friend. I didn’t mind the me too movement I just felt it moved away from helping victims and became villainizing men. Also was kinda a trend where everyone was a victim regardless of the situation. I mean I think of the Taylor Swift incident where a groping was being seen as just bad as rape. It’s bad but not the same.
Thanks for the read. I very much appreciate it.

Thanks for the read, friend. I actually do believe in a God I just think organize religion has hurt humanity and is used for propaganda. But I also see how it helps too. Which I have no problems with anyone believing what they do. It’s only a problem when judging me and so and so on haha. But yeah, never a popular topic.

Powerfully penned, Keith. What Mary said, sometimes making things right is comforting. Especially on a deathbed. For some reason when I read this I could hear, Robert Stack, narrating it. Like an Unsolved Mysteries episode. Great write my friend. Appreciate you.

I have Robert Stack on my GPS giving me directions. It reminds me of “Airplane”. I’m kidding.
You have just blown my mind with this piece, and there’s nothing insane about it. For once, it’s a vision of sanity, and I think everyone is on board with the beauty of forgiveness. It’s odd how death and finality have a way of changing our perspectives so abruptly. Setting things right can be so important. How fortunate were these two for having a middleman that kept them in touch.
Keith is it? I’m Meg. Thanks for that story!

This was touching. Made me think of my last visit to my mother who was on hospice with breast cancer. She was barely able to open her eyes to see me, then she was able to make a smile, the last smile I ever saw from her. Cancer took her but couldn’t kill her sweet soul. Bravo 👏

Death brings either the sweetest or the meanest in human beings. In this case, it was love. A heartbreaking and heartwarming write. Both at the same time. Well done, buddy!

Can actually relate to this. Sadly. I feel my fiance and I no longer really love each other, not even any attraction exists. While I was reading your piece here, I felt my creative, poetic juices flowing and if I dont have any more purpose with her, then poetry and story writing will become my purpose in life. You write a simple piece, yet totally thought provoking. Bravo!
