Sorry I Have a Penis

Bookmark
HomePoetrySorry I Have a Penis

you have sight for things I don’t see
the person I am is a perverted freak
well, yeah
but unless you are willing to claw out my eyes
I’ll always stare at big asses
can’t help God made me with a penis
men are born sexual predators
least that’s what you claim to your friends
we used to hang out all the time
now you’re a hardcore feminist
part time lesbian
telling everyone, me too!

you’re not fooling me
I remember you groping married men
guess they should of just liked it
they should of just took it
because they’re born cheating bastards
and you’re just an empowered woman
oh girl, please
there’s a difference between assault and regret
just because you made stupid decisions
doesn’t make you a victim
and just because a man you didn’t find attractive
flirts with you
doesn’t make him a criminal
it makes true victims look like liars

I have a dick
and I’m truly sorry for that
it keeps pointing at things I want
and you have a hole
my guess is it’s being filled as I write this
from a man, or woman
or both
you just want to be the lustful cunt
and every man should wait their turn
well lock me up with the other males
I’m a hopeless flirt
staring at sexy women
I fantasize of dirty things way too often
and if given the green light
I would be all up in that
you know it’s true
if you had a penis
they would lock you up too

    1. Really strong poetic rant which effectively points out that there continues to be a double standard when it comes to sexual deviance. I just finished a book called “Tampa” by Alissa Nutting which totally kills this topic in reference to predators. You should take a look at it.

      • Sounds like an interesting book. I’ll keep it in mind. There is a double standard for sure, but in some ways I don’t want to come off as victim blaming either. So many people all around get preyed on and the laws here are a joke at best. I mostly wrote this after seeing how many false accusations were floating around, and mostly it was one sided with no hearing out the male side.

Thanks for the read, much appreciated.

      • Yeah, I think sometimes it is like having to be sorry for being a man. Being attracted but having to watch your words, your eyes, your step. That makes it sound like women don’t go through similar issues, well really worse ones, but the poem is more pointing that out I suppose.

        Thanks for the read, friend.

    2. Powerfully penned, Nick. I partially blame the media, well the propaganda that’s force fed to us to consume daily. Putting their narratives in our heads. Magnificent write my friend. Appreciate you.

      • Yeah, I do think most of the narrative is public shaming rather than hearing arguments before judgment. I personally think we owe it to real victims to look at it as a case by case basis. But unfortunately society likes the easy way and the easy way is to shun.

        Thanks for the read, friend.

    3. I think it’s just as hard to be a man as it is to be a woman when it comes to this stuff.
      Great poem, my friend.

    4. I appreciate reading the confessional poems out there, as a man given a penis by God, I can heavy relate. It’s not easy being a man and I’m sure harder to be a woman.

      • Yeah, I think unfortunately a lot of good men get thrown aside or accused because of toxic men and manipulating women. But as you said, many women deal with a whole lot of bull crap.

        Thanks for the read, friend.

    5. The title gave me a good laugh 😀

Yet your piece is anything from shallow, it’s quite profound.
I LOVE your use of “me too” it’s very clever, my friend.

      • Hey there, friend. I didn’t mind the me too movement I just felt it moved away from helping victims and became villainizing men. Also was kinda a trend where everyone was a victim regardless of the situation. I mean I think of the Taylor Swift incident where a groping was being seen as just bad as rape. It’s bad but not the same.

Thanks for the read. I very much appreciate it.
