I never thought I’d be one to age gracefully. When I was young I thought for sure I’d fight it tooth and claw. But here I am, looking backwards and smiling forward. Tim this is one of the most evocative and emotionally strong poems of have read on the Beat poet experience. I have read much Kerouac, Ginsberg, Gregory Corso, and many others and this poem takes me into the heart of their world but written in retrospective from a much later time. Truly this is a work of great poetic art that refreshed my spirit on how much I loved reading those writers from yesteryear.
