    Protest! They say they care.
    Protest! They wouldn’t dare.
    Protest! They cut your hair.
    Protest! They strip you bare.
    Protest! They foul your air.
    Protest! Your bruises hurt.
    Protest! Your face is dirt.
    Protest! Your eyes are tired.
    Protest! Your jaw is wired.
    Protest! Your eyes are black.
    Protest! No going back!

    • Protest sometimes isn’t enough, especially not when faced with such horrors. -Curt

      • Sadly, I agree – I live in England, we’re all affected by Trump, Iran, Israel, all the cruel rhetoric on all sides, but I so hope America overthrows your President soon. Only thru a public uprising, it seems, can normality be restored in The States. HJx

    • Girl this is something. Protest to be heard but who is even listening? they keep doing the damage. This is good

      • It’s borne out of my frustration at The World, Fia. The Devil, threatening to wipe out a civilization using foul-mouthed rhetoric only makes life worse for all of us, bluffing or not. The Devils on the other side are just as bad, if not worse -putting to death 30,000 innocent protestors. Pray we all move to Peace, soon, girl. Take Good Care of…Read More

    When I’m sad?
    Does it feel my pain?
    When things go bad?

    How can it last long?
    I’m still crying

    The outside is pouring.

    Where is the sun?
    To feel better
I just wanna go out and run
    Even with this dark weather

I try to smile a bit
    And when I do
    I see the r…Read More

    Oh! Vain parade!

The crows they passed nor wisdom lent, Save edicts of their own intent— Decrees of self, in echoes thrown, Till every voice was praise alone. Oh! Ghastly flock! Oh! Vain parade! Your kingdom’s built on rot and shade. For when the...

The Look You Gave Me (Changed)

Rewriting Memory   There was always a kind of sadness in your eyes Even when you were baby and looked at me There was always this emotive tone in your voice So young and yet so full of melancholy   In those days there was an...
