And yes, I too miss DUP and I was happy/proud to be part of it for some three or four years.
There are a couple of threads about people from DUP nd I browsed them over the past half year or so.
Even a thread about the music, which was about music from other authors.
Very little music was posted from the community itself.
But I have found Titanium’ Shoegazer on YouTube.
If you’re American: Thank you very much for that one.
In all other cases: keep them coming please. I love them to bits and I promise to listen to all you’ll post there.
I admit I am the Amsterdam fanclub and I must have played Shoegazer at least a hundred times.
I am not sure of the number of songs I posted on DUP, but they were all originals.
Gitaarnet (Dutch forum – collapsed a couple of weeks ago) helped out with a number of listens we can only dream about on DUP or StarsRite.
Anything between 5.000 and 20.000 listens for coops with DUP people.
I don’t write for the listeners, but love it when people come and listen.
I find the number of people who listen here quite disheartening.
But I’m afraid that I have to get used to it.
