My grandmother was in 40s when my grandfather passed away. My grandfather worked in singareni coal mines. If husband dies wife gets job. My grandmother wanted to do job but her family told what you will work as sweeper in hospitals and nobody allowed saying her kids will work. So that job my dad’s brother took. He never give money to my grandmother. If my grandmother would have been working she would have lived happily with money and job and now in her old age she would have got pension without depending on her kids she would have lived without any financial problems.
I see when a woman is alone she must take care if herself otherwise nobody gives respect looking at her dependency on others. I know my siblings now only hesitating to help me when i ask money how could they help me if I am sick. I am sure nobody would help me.
I know what I am doing working is not liked by any they think they are overloving me but infact making me to suffer. I need yo work and even my husband is asking me money where would I get to see my son and to feed my husband if I am mot working. My grandmother did big mistake by not taking her job offer and now she is at the courtesy of kids to her and feed her.
I need to be financially independent and i will work not even depending on my son.
People think they are treating me with so much love. But infact they are making me to suffer more by taking my money if I stop giving money my husband would never even talk. He is just chatting for money I feel I am atleast hearing his voice though I lose my money.
I have my self-respect.
