    • Oh! This reminds me of when me and my brother would play in the rain when we were kids.
In the front yard we didn’t have stickers so we would be barefoot. Lol
      Good times!

      • I did it in high school one day with a friend. We kicked a can in the front of the school in pouring rain and kids were watching from the windows. He’s since passed away so I’ll always remember that day being glad we did it. 🙂

And yeah, us kids also ran in yards in the rain leaving our parents aghast. lol

Thank you for the comment, Adelly. 🙂

    • Your poems are super sad. I assume you’re a manic depressive? I hope life changes soon and puts you in a better place.

      • I am schizoaffective bipolar type, add, and substance abuse disorder diagnosed. But I have persistent depression. But uh, usually I deal with depression in poetry and they’re supposed to be sad and stuff.

        • Hey, that’s what writing is for…expression. If it helps even a little, keep writing.

    • hello dearest poet this is a crazy world right now so I get this but writing and connecting with people here is not doing nothing it is expressing yourself at a safe distance great write ❤️

    • The dark call to death’s serenade is not what one should gravitate to, but the pull is strong. Nice piece had me thinking.

    • Death doesn’t bring peace.
You have to be alive to feel peace.

      Know what I’m saying!

    • hello dearest Nolan I am schizo too and I understand these feelings but death is just a doorway with no promises great write ❤️
