While I was shaving,
I nicked my face and realized:

He should’ve buried his smile
in her smile,
instead of hiding it behind
beard and toothpaste.

But that’s what he does.
And that’s how it goes.
Nostrils flaring with hate
And ears steaming with anger.

And it goes back,
to an abortion clinic for a home
with his brothers and sisters,
staying up late,
sitting in the waiting room,
like beheaded dandelions.

Tv on:
Goldilocks with a Glock
Shooting the bear
I mean choosing the bear.
And her Ads with sexy objects.

You and I promoting women hate,
says Skylar White.

I just want to kiss her biceps
These biceps can lift boulders.

These flowers burning me alive
Like a witch on trial
Like an effigy
Like a poet without his poems.
I am waiting for the ashes
When will I rise?

The moon is unfaithful,
but the sun is an abusive husband.
