Summary:
That is a new poem Written by Aldo Kraas

Father hear me
Please grant some health
For my weary frame
Since I have no vigor
And Father see
I am older now
Deep within this gray
While a heavy spirit
Bears down my heart
I find it hard
Every single waking day
To carry this load
I Must confess this truth
Darkness is my shadow
A lifelong quiet struggle
To keep the light inside
It is hard to live
This breath is shallow
Father help me through
Where shadows often hide
Twice a day I drink the cup
Sunrise brings the pill
Nightly I will lift it up
Waiting for the quiet and still
Father hear me
Please grant some health
For my weary frame
Since I have no vigor
And Father see
I am older now
Deep within this gray
While a heavy spirit
Bears down my heart
I find it hard
Every single waking day
To carry this load
Every morning every night
Daily help for my mind
I never skip the dose
Healing I have to find
Give me sleep tonight
Rest that I need
Long hours in bed
While your word I heed
Twice a day I drink the cup
Sunrise brings the pill
Nightly I will lift it up
Waiting for the quiet and still
Father hear me
Please grant some health
For my weary frame
Since I have no vigor
And Father see
I am older now
Deep within this gray
While a heavy spirit
Bears down my heart
I find it hard
Every single waking day
To carry this load
Dreaming of those I lost
In fields of bright gold
They rest in peaceful air
Where stories are never old
I have a beautiful life
Given by your holy grace
Formed by your loving hands
In this sacred hidden place
Father hear me
Please grant some health
For my weary frame
Since I have no vigor
And Father see
I am older now
Deep within this gray
While a heavy spirit
Bears down my heart
I find it hard
Every single waking day
To carry this load
