Summary:
Open mic style poem inspired by David Gilmours On An Island and my imaginations lighthearted will.
silence is silver
more like the moon
resting in darkness
crescent illumed
show us the stairs
that we might too
have stars for a pillow
oh murmur of the planets
silence your yellow tongue
the shuffle and the rustle
lie down here as one
and dream in emptiness
where lucidity is spun.
Loved this!!

Beautifully penned, Clay. Another excellent write with clever wordplay my friend. I can see the Gilmour’s influence in this one. Amazing read as always. Appreciate you.
