beauty infused, with an understanding smile
brought hummingbirds to my soul lighting on my feelings
in sacred silence I sat
as they brought vivid colors to my inner garden
Melancholy was weeping from the truth of the moment
consoling my guilt as she flew heavenward
only the creator has the answers for this
torment was present
then I felt a glow about me
as sunshine after a storm
the damm broke and I cried
the river flooded and I thought I migt be carried away with the deluge
the creator said let go
so I was carried down stream where the waters gentled
he wispered here its not so heavy
I looked and saw apple trees around me
they were sweet and juicey to eat
the Father uttered purity to my spirit
once I mocked God, not understaning the manner of manna
until insanity reigned and it was all I had to sustain me
the world will feed you lies
amazed I saw another tree
it was rooted in the river
with great branches
I was invited to drink I did, and my soul refreshed
within the fullness of the moment I understood
a dream I thought to take it with me
but the knowledge there would stay there
when I needed the creator would bathe me in my tears
and renew me
