my solemn mood had nothing to do with you
it was my inner girl singing the blues
a melody of sadness
strung together with notes of pain
subtle hints of what was troubling me
without revealing itself
a twinge of guilt
a little hurt
indiscrimanate feelings that burn within me
causing a slow but constant ache
my demeanor downcast I couldn't hide it
secrets sin my self to blame

Powerful work. Excellent.
good morning dearest Thomas hello thank you for showing me love on this ❤️
You’ve strung together the notes of pain very well. Perhaps singing the blues can be just as cathartic as writing about them. We can only hope.
thank you graciously lovely Kelly ❤️
Those solem moods are tricky. We can’t always keep them locked down. And then others feel the dark coolness of their touch. Beautifully written, Brenda 🧡
