I am the mirror none can face
Reflecting void, erasing trace
The self dissolves when it is sought
A shadow born of lightless thought
I show the eyes that dare not see
The truth behind identity
No image forms, no frame remains
Just fractured glass and phantom stains
I echo what was never there
A gaze that vanishes mid stare
I hold the shape of what you fear
Then blur the lines that once were clear
I’m clarity that shuns the known
A silence carved in polished stone
To look at me is to forget
The self you thought had ever met

Many can’t face the reality of self so they deny who they are. A mirror shows a lot more than what your face looks like.
Brilliant and well written, my friend.
Thank you..sometimes the mirror reflects more than just our reflection..they show our true soul..something haunting and beautiful at the same time..thank you for the comment
Phenomenally penned, Mstrmnd. Into the book it belongs! Excellent write with precise detail and an amazing flow. Dare I say it’s very lyrical my friend. Dig this. Appreciate you.
