Codicil Of My Evidentiary

Bookmark
HomeUncategorizedCodicil Of My Evidentiary
As if a poet with one clue with a wooden heart, I whittle
Like a ne’er–do–well, in my earthly attire
Bound by webs of frost, at the window sash

Haphazardly, at times I ramble, without a thought, just naught
With a splash of importance and a twitch in my roguish eyes
I squander a queue

Letting my pen quibble, resting on poetic laurels
As you scratch an itch, on my sensuality
In a codicil of my evidentiary

While your love ignites desires
I castigate my limber,
In certainty, it’s arising
