Starsrite has added a new word writing challenge: “Random Word Writing Challenge“
We will be giving you a word prompt or the word “theme” of the week.
The challenge is to write a poem or a short story (approximately 1000 words) based on the theme of this week “or the word prompt of this week”.
To make it even more interesting we will randomly generate 3 individual words just for you. No two challenges will be the same. You can include these 3 random words in your poem or short story.
Once again members have requested that we increase the publishing limit from 2 posts per day to 3 posts per day (24 hours).
However just to remind our members that after you publish 3 posts in 24 hours, a counter (in red) will indicate the remaining time until you can post again.
If you try to publish more than 3 posts in 24 hours a warning message ( ! something went wrong – as displayed below) to inform you that you have exceeded the two posts limit per day.
We have added the option of editing your post comments.
You will have a 5 minutes time interval after you make a comment to either edit or delete your post comment.
To view the last 10 post that your friends have posted you can go to the main menu/more and choose the page: “Friends Latest Posts”
Another way to view what your friends or others have posted you can also go to your “activity” page and filter everything you are looking for.
We have also added a new Notification on Starsrite
You may have noticed a bell icon just below the “Publish Your Stories” bar. This bell is the notification icon.
It alerts you to new DMs, friend requests, responses to your posts…etc
We have also added a new notification feature: “new_post_by_friend”
You will receive this notification “new_post_by_friend” whenever a friend (that you’re following) makes a post.
Unfortunately at this time this notification will not take you to the post if you press the “new_post_friend”. However we are working on it so it will soon.
However to view the last 10 post that your friends have posted you can go to the main menu and choose the page: “Friends Latest Posts”
Another way to view what your friends or others have posted you can also go to your “activity” page and filter everything you are looking for.
We have added a new feature to Starsrite: The Forum Feature.
Click on the Forum feature from the main menu (More/Forum)
There you will find a list of the Forums which are active on Starsrite.
You can participate in any of the Forums and add topics to the Forums as you so choose.

Now you can enable or disable the comments feature on Starsrite.
Go to your Dashboard where you will find below the “Enable/Disable Comments” button.
Click to open the page and choose (Yes) or (No) to enable or disable comments feature for each of your posts/chapters, then press update.
