i’ve been holding grudges

i’ve been resentful

because of the dismissal

of my feelings

my energy has been reeling

reeking of the color red

so much shit, left unsaid

that you might think twice

before taking me to bed

because transference is real

so unless you were sent to heal

you will never feel

me

because this girl

this version of myself

is not the, real

me

this world has hardened my exterior

it has beaten me down

till i was black and blue

my soul called out to yours,

i began to wonder, if you would ever find me

but mind detects mind
