This is in reference to the poem I made called Sadie Winters is not real.
(Now deleted)
It’s based on an episode by Rick Beato (youtube) in which he created an AI character named Sadie Winters who is a fictional singer. The songs she’s associated with were created by AI in seconds. I used this subject to make the poem. Unfortunately, The Brave search engine picked up on it and gave an answer through its AI search engine I was not aware of until today. Below is a more specific answer. As far as I know, there are no Fake writers here on Starsrite.
Earlier today, I asked AI (on the Brave search engine) if there were any fake writers on Writers Cafe. It said there were and gave some examples. When I finished, on a whim, I asked the same question of this site. This is the answer it gave me.
Fake Writers Stars Rite
“As of the latest information, the platform Starsrite, which functions as a free online self-publishing and social platform for writers and readers, has been associated with the creation of a fictional author named Sadie Winters. The platform explicitly states that Sadie Winters is not a real person, highlighting a commentary on the nature of identity and authenticity in digital spaces.
This fictional persona serves as an example of how digital platforms can generate characters or identities that resonate with audiences, even if they lack a real-world counterpart. The existence of such a figure underscores the potential for fabricated personas within online literary communities.
The character Sadie Winters is explicitly described as not real by the Starsrite platform.
The platform uses this fictional author to explore themes of identity and the impact of digital creation on perception.
The creation of Sadie Winters reflects broader discussions about authenticity and the blurring lines between real and fabricated personas in online environments.

*I’m still trying to figure out how to correct this information. Although after deleting the poem, this information may disappear.Β

If you follow Rick Beato you must be a music enthusiast.
I have seen Rick discussing the impact of AI in the music industry and even he has said it’s getting harder to identy human from digitally created music.
The same can be said for any ‘writing’ site….who is doing the writing.
I for one, would never post an AI produced piece without declaring it.
Sometimes, I’ll write a piece, get AI to tidy it up and then post both versions and let others decide which is better.Usually, it’s the AI free version .
Its a crazy old world.π
Yes it is, Peter. I’m a drummer of 52 years. Thanks for the comment.
Hell yeah, Beato, has a great show. Appreciate you.
Damian
Thanks very much, Damian. I watch him all the time.
There a few things in life I detest more than AI .. and I can only think of four members of my own species that fall into that category .. All of whom are supposedly world leaders and one of which has no intelligence whatsoever, let alone artificial .. ππI found this to be a compelling read which could prove write for further debate .. Thanks for the comment, Neville. It’s good to see you here.
I fear this is going to be a case of “the internet is forever”. Once it’s been used to train an AI, which somehow it seems like it already has, I don’t think deleting it will remove it from its “memory”. We’re entering a brave new world of technology and I’m quickly starting to feel very unprepared for it.
I can relate to your feelings, Green. Thanks for the comment.
Powerful and poignant
