Last week she stood on the roof
Threw a penny off and listened
A few seconds went by
Then she heard the faint bright sound of it hitting the cement
She looked up into the night sky
Clear,
No planes, no clouds, nothing but darkness and stars
She threw another penny off & listened
She spat and listened to the barely audible splat
She then threw himself off
All she heard was the wind
Then everything went black

There is no coming back from that. She couldn’t drop a watermelon?
Guess not. Thanks Fia.
That’s gonna leave a mark for sure, and a hell of a mess. Does everybody jump in your stories? I’ll correct that, I think you had a story where somebody got thrown off a roof. lol. Incredible write, Keith. Appreciate you.

It’s my second story with roof jumping. Jumping off of a roof has always intrigued me. I’ve jumped off my parents roof a few times. The last time I broke my arm. Now I jump off my shed and into my pool. Safer. Thanks Damian.
