Our flame light has faded to shadow… The last hiss of our candle has come… It's sooty wick now cold and black… That delicate glow once soothed us…   Long ago, our rose bloomed amongst ruins… Within the warm breath of the candle… Whose flickering flame...

Into the storm I go again. Lit by flashes of lightning, yet the sun peeks from behind towering thunder clouds to warm my face in this blitz.

This shroud of nighttime burns from the flame of my candle.   Shadows tiptoe away, the night recedes like a black ocean.   Quivering, shadow and light dance, an endless dance.

Candles possess souls that flicker against the icy winds of a wintry life.   Candles in the snow… Beneath the pale shroud…   Candles glowing in the darkness. Their breaths of heaven melt the snow   into the holy water I cross myself with.
