Within the tempest of this world, my candle flame burns stout and proud.   Storm clouds gather over my candlelit eyes, yet they burn on… a powerful counter-gaze   through that grey overcast blanketing what was once the warm sun in my life....

This ocean breathes… Your rhythm of the sea!   Waves rising and falling  like our chests do when we breathe.    You are lost somewhere deep… Deep within my heart…   You're the one who  tickles my heartstrings.    And from within you sing your rhythm of the sea. 

The Hell within… was sparked by traumatic events.   The Hell within my mind… was seared into my memory.   The Hell within my heart… is the locomotive force of my writing.   The Hell within… will remain as I refuse what was my heaven!

The shadow I cast at night, is that of my soul on fire.   The shadows of my passion, cast onto the faces of others.   The shadow of a tall flame, one that rises the more it consumes.   The shadows within… cast themselves...

Are we gazing into the mere moments we have left? Not into each other's eyes, rather into the only time we have left? Rather than moments, let's gaze on into many years ahead! When we’re old and still in-love…
